I am writing to you today from 10,000 feet above sea level, after deciding to spend a good chunk of this month up high in the big mountains of Colorado!

Summitting peak after peak.
Running through one forest after the next.
Dipping my fingers in all the wild crystal ice creeks.
Taking time to rest beside alpine lakes.

I have returned from running mountains to spend a few days of focused work. I have a book I am writing, plus I continue to put out opportunities to join me in conscious connection:​

• to self
• to this Planet Earth

Because, as we all know, this world is need of a wake up call, and this has everything to do with how we connect to one another; how we connect to our planet, and how we connect as our whole, fully embodied selves.

Speaking of the world needing a wake up call... I don't often get political in my Newsletter, but this one crosses every line and blurs any barrier between party lines.

​The U.S. Senate is currently holding bill that, if passed, will sell off nearly all of the public lands in the West.​

If this sounds like some wild, b.s. narrative concocted for attention, I urge you to remember the paradigm we are currently living in. We are living in a time of intentional chaos, a playbook by those in power that are intentionally throwing one horror after the next at its people.

It is calculated, and it is intentionally designed to tear us down.

This is the latest piece, and this one tears directly at the heart of this platform, so I am asking you to please, listen.

Go read about it, and take action now. Call your senators and share with all of your people.

If it passes, we move down a road of true horror.

Even if it doesn't, we are witnessing what this government is willing to do as it continues to tear down the soul of what America The Beautiful and Free is, at its core.

The concept is simple,
But the practice isn’t necessarily so.
Especially given our modern world,
One fundamentally based on separation.
​
This false narrative of separation is killing us.
Just as it is killing our planet.
​
The remedy?
Get outside.
Get your feet on the earth.
Move your body.
Be with the earth.
Remember…

My time in nature helps me to remember the truth underlying all the bullshit narratives that humans have concocted. And the truth is this:

That we are all of this Earth. We are all Earth.
And upon Earth, there is no separation.
There is only one web of life,
one web of interwoven beings.

Humans have forgotten this.
And in its place, we weave false narratives based on separation.
This breeds hatred.

The remedy is not to run away from it all and hole up in nature.
Still, the remedy can be found in nature, because she reminds us of the truth.

This is why I teach what I do. To get outside. Get your feet on the Earth. Move your body.
