Deeping and expanding your sacred Earth connection

Connection is the path of remembering,
We are interwoven; as one.

Hi friends,

For years, I have been writing over on the We Are The Forest Substack as a path to embodiment: that is, to knowing ourselves as the whole, complex, interconnected beings that we are.

By interweaving my spiritual and biological teachings, it is a space that allows each of us to explore within, as we simultaneously open to the ways we are connected beyond a limited view of self.

I know this to be a path to healing, just as I know it to be a path to the growth that is needed for all of life on Planet Earth during these wild times.

I continue to write over on We Are The Forest, and I am excited to soon initiate my next series on the 11 most important spiritual practices for each of us to try out so that we may each cultivate a routine set of practices that best support our own healing and growth.

And now, there's more

Last week, I made a final decision to begin a second Substack, one that will enable us to build upon this foundation so that we can go even deeper, and even further into the mysteries and the truths that are here to guide us.

The Mountain Mystic Substack thus becomes our new space for those wishing to go deeper, and expand further into the mysteries, and into the truths that are here to guide us into that next version of life on Planet Earth:

  • One that knows itself as interconnected and interdependent
  • One that values all of life and is no longer concerned with self-centered, egoic ascension paths

The fact of the matter is, my friends, that humanity once sowed a seed that formed deep ruts in the ability for life to flourish on this planet. Yes, once those narratives of separation and superiority got sowed, the paths that unfolded could only lead us into the destruction that we now too well:

  • The destruction that regularly unfolds within, be it in the physical, mental, or emotional condition of our own selves
  • The destruction that unfolds loudly "out there" - through war, through resource depletion, through human-caused climate change, and through the most tragic experiences of our forests, oceans, and all lands being over-utilized as resources (as their own life value is wholly ignored)

The fact of the matter is, things need to change here on the face of Planet Earth.

The good news is, they already are :)

For 18 months now, I have been holding an inner circle of those in this community devoted to doing the powerful Earth Embodiment work that I often share about.

Meanwhile, I have been off on my own wild series of adventures across the lands, being shown over and over again what is available when we open to the guidance that is available.

Now, with the opening of The Mountain Mystic Substack, I offer the public a space for joining me in this deeper exploration of all that I mean when I speak to all the ways that we can connect into this Earth.

Katie

Hi all, Can you feel it? We are in a powerful time. Yes, of course, the world around us shaking and raging is one clear sign. At the same time, those quieter, far subtler signs from within: those that are guiding you to find your truth, and to find a deeper truth, amidst it all. And, to allow this truth to guide you forward as we each work to co-create a brighter, more beautiful Planet Earth:: for you, because you deserve it for all, because all of life deserves to shine its unique, beautiful...

Well friends, here I am again. Staring down the barrel of my third 100 mile mountain ultra running event! And boy am I filled with excitement!! This Friday I will, one again, place my feet on the starting line, begin taking steps, and not stop walking and running until I cross 100 miles! 100 miles. 6 mountain passes. 23,400 feet of climbing! This journey is a wild one, and it is difficult to tell you, plainly, why I continue to do it. Only that the journey is one I know to be extraordinarily...

I am writing to you today from 10,000 feet above sea level, after deciding to spend a good chunk of this month up high in the big mountains of Colorado! Summitting peak after peak.Running through one forest after the next.Dipping my fingers in all the wild crystal ice creeks.Taking time to rest beside alpine lakes. I have returned from running mountains to spend a few days of focused work. I have a book I am writing, plus I continue to put out opportunities to join me in conscious connection:...
