Ignite your sacred heart (Embodied Activism)

Hi there,

A moment to check in with you all. How are we all doing?

  • Do we still have our feet on the ground, connected into reality here on Planet Earth
  • Are we still breathing deep, conscious breaths as we hold awareness within self?
  • Are we all paying attention to the greater happenings at play... but doing so in a way that we can stay centered and focused (and not get taken down by it all?)

As for myself, the fiery pattern continues as I keep finding myself engulfed in energy that burns me to show up more fully in this world.

Ugh, but the problem is how!!!

When we live in a world as wild and chaotic as this one, how do we show up for this world (for our families, our communities, and even strangers across the world) in a way that truly serves?

If you have been finding yourself wanting to show up more fully but unsure how, I have just the practice for you to find your path forward:

  • Find deep grounding in connection to your root; in deeper connection to Planet Earth, herself
  • Work with your sacred heart fires to move yourself in the directions that matter (while burning away all the crap that holds your attention when it doesn't actually serve to pour your energy there)
  • Connect into your depths through sacred water (hello yesterday's full moon) so that you find balance with the fiery energy we are playing in

Here is how:

Connection is the path of remembering,We are interwoven; as one. Hi friends, For years, I have been writing over on the We Are The Forest Substack as a path to embodiment: that is, to knowing ourselves as the whole, complex, interconnected beings that we are. By interweaving my spiritual and biological teachings, it is a space that allows each of us to explore within, as we simultaneously open to the ways we are connected beyond a limited view of self. I know this to be a path to healing,...

Hi all, Can you feel it? We are in a powerful time. Yes, of course, the world around us shaking and raging is one clear sign. At the same time, those quieter, far subtler signs from within: those that are guiding you to find your truth, and to find a deeper truth, amidst it all. And, to allow this truth to guide you forward as we each work to co-create a brighter, more beautiful Planet Earth:: for you, because you deserve it for all, because all of life deserves to shine its unique, beautiful...

Well friends, here I am again. Staring down the barrel of my third 100 mile mountain ultra running event! And boy am I filled with excitement!! This Friday I will, one again, place my feet on the starting line, begin taking steps, and not stop walking and running until I cross 100 miles! 100 miles. 6 mountain passes. 23,400 feet of climbing! This journey is a wild one, and it is difficult to tell you, plainly, why I continue to do it. Only that the journey is one I know to be extraordinarily...
